After being really impressed with the takeaway food we went here for a dine in experience for a birthday which was great. It's quite tiny inside with a bluish light and they were lovely.
The food is excellent. Six of us had a lot of vegetarian food with paneer shashlick impressive, veggie jalfrezi and Manchurian tasty and hot and the naan bread gorgeous.
A bit of a hidden gem on the Cally Road!
I was kind of vigilant at first, but the food in the end was actually good. Or at least we definitely liked it. The crispy thing we ate before the starters had some super weird sauce, but otherwise it was all fair. We should have eaten a set though to be more cost effective, sets include everything while separately they can come out as more. Better luck next time!
Just ordered from here, never tried it before. As usual, the reviews are mixed. So, here goes. I have had many many curries in my time. The negative is the curries needed more meat. Thats the only one I have.
We had 2 curries, lamd Mawabi and a Butter chicken, they tasted absolutely gorgeous. Also had a whole Tandoori chicken, so moist, fresh and amazingly spiced. Then we had as a side the most delicious Aloo Gobi.
Highly recommend this place. It isnt high end but is a good staple British style Indian takeaway/restaurant.
The negative comments seem people were expecting authentic, this place is not about that and thats not a bad thing.
